All of the NPs I have seen at the health center have listened to my health concerns and history with kindness and understanding. I have felt genuinely cared for by their staff. They are able to prescribe medications and offer referrals to nearby specialists. With their affordable pricing and decent availability, I would recommend the health center to students.

I went in for a regular check up recently and everyone at the Health Center treated me with nothing but patience, respect, and honesty. Especially Elizabeth/Elsa Negash and the medical assistant who helped me were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make sure all my concerns were addressed.

I’ve been in there multiple times for different reasons, and each time they’ve treated me well. In the instances where they were unable to treat me due to being fully booked, they referred me to other services. The nurses here are really patient and answer all of my questions. The only problem I encounter with them is that they are often booked out and I had to schedule for a day or two later, and it’s a pain to have to wait when you’re already not feeling well.

Girlfriend went in to check something. The nurse practitioner said "hmm, well let's see what we can find online," proceeded to google for the issue then said "try taking ibuprofen, it says that should help" Do not waste your time with this. Literally any other urgent care in Seattle is better than the Seattle U Health Center.

The health center is the most unprofessional medical staff I've ever encountered. They cancelled an appointment I made several weeks in advance on the day of. When I tried to reschedule, they couldn't get me in until the following month because priority goes to "yeast infections and things like that." I asked if I could have someone else's appointment in the event they cancel, at which point the woman on the phone got audibly irritated, like this was an extravagant and far-fetched request, and the call ended. Fast forward and I'm getting a call back from an upset nurse practitioner for the sole purpose of squabbling with me over the previous phone call and who had no intention of getting me treatment. Completely asinine behavior from someone who passes herself off as a health care professional.
